The things kids say

One of my favorite things about blogs is when people write out what their kids say. Kids just say the funniest things.

Dawson the other day was cleaning his outdoor play house. Kenan was crying a lot for some reason. Dawson looked at him and said, "You can help me Kenan when you stop fussin'" I didn't know I used the word fussin' but I guess I do! :)

The next two aren't so funny but rather interesting with the mix of languages that go on here. We are watching our neighbors dog so we went to let it out to pee. I said that she might have to go poopy. Dawson says "She has to poop? I don't know if they have a nyege" (outside "bathroom"- really a hole).

Then I wanted to go home, I told Kenan "na ya" (Come here) and he said in such a cute voice- "Ok, coming" He understood what I said but just replied in English.

I created a blog

So now we have a blog. I don't know why I just started it. I guess you can say I felt the peer pressure from all the other blogs out there. The one that got me was- blogs are the children's baby books of this generation. I want my boys to have their memories written down somewhere. We've been hesitant to start this whole blog thing because of the time commitment and the fear that people will write and ask us why we haven't updated it. Please no pressure! We"ll do it when we can and pictures will probably be even less often. I guess you can say that this blog is the epitome of my study habits. I take a Bambara test tomorrow. Finally just set a date to take it so it would be done with. Instead of studying like I should be, or exercising like I should be (I'm sitting here in my exercise clothes with my iPod on but somehow I'm at the computer and NOT on my elipitical machine). I was just about to write exersaucer- ha! ok, I don't think this blog thing will be good for me, it brings out my completely random train of thought nature. Alas, I will end and go exercise and study....again, please no pressure from the blog readers out there and we will do our best...hopefully there will be more exciting posts to come.
