Proud or Embarrassed?

I don't know if I should feel proud or embarrassed that this is what my boys' bath looks like after they have been in there a minute.

Proud that they are taking a bath because they clearly needed it. Or embarrassed that I consider them clean after they have "washed" in water like that.


This was a different night. Unfortunately is happens often and leaves a layer of dirt on the tub when the water is let out.

    You know what these pictures make me think of? What the water looked like when I'd take a bath after helping my grandparents with tobacco. We could only run about an inch of water in the tub because they were on a well. Sometimes, we'd have to share the same water so we wouldn't use so much. Glad the boys have a tub and not just a big pail or pot to wash in.
