The hospital needed ambulances so we ended up giving our car to the hospital and getting a new (used) car that was being sold in Bamako. It was hard to give away our sweet car that held precious memories. It was our favorite place in Mali for the first year here. :) I kid you not. We would go and sit in the A/C and just enjoy a moment of peace. Good memories. But a car is a car so we have moved on but not without some pictures. :)
Brett wanted me to take a pic of the car before we gave it to the hospital. It ended up being a Silas photo session and since they were funny, I had to post them.
Jeremi wanted his picture with the car as well before it left the MacLean household.
