France, once again

We traveled by trains a lot. Poor Brett lugged and lugged bags up and down subway stations. It was an experience. We planned to have a more leisurely return to the airport by using a cab but we just happened to be there during a big cab strike in Paris. So it was more up and down, throwing bags on and off subway trains and making sure all the kids made the moves with us. Subway stops are not long. Thankfully, we are all still here.

And here's a pose outside a train station on our way somewhere. They were happy outside the train. :)

We had a day in Paris on our way out. The largest science museum in all of Europe is there so we decided to check it out. It was a slow start but pretty cool. The boys (ok, Brett and I did too) loved getting to eat at a Burger King that was there.

Paris had some amazing playgrounds. Really over-the-top (free) play areas. The boys had tons of fun.
this is so Silas.

We also found some cotton candy which was a special treat to enjoy. It went from ginormous to tiny pretty quickly. :)

And then before we knew it, we were back on a plane heading for Mali. So thankful for our time of respite.
