Happy 5th Birthday, Silas!

Super Silas, as he is often called around here, turned 5. Somehow even though the daily moments seem to pass slowly, the years fly by. Already 5. Silas is a joy to our family. He adds a lot of energy and spunk. His kisses and hugs are simply wonderful and his hugs warm the heart. He has really taken off in language and learning in general. It's really fun to see.

It was fun that there were a lot of kids to celebrate his Star Wars party with. (This is not the whole group. There were 10 kids in total)

I misunderstood his requests for his party and we did more of a scavenger hunt like before where he wanted individual games and a treasure hunt. Oops. So we had some tears on behalf of the birthday boy, but all the other kids seemed to enjoy it. :)

Then there was cake and ice cream, and really, that's all the birthday is really about, right? :)

(and in case you can't tell, those are light sabers on the cake. :) at least he got it.)
