Dawson got this dry erase board from a member of our church at home this summer. I actually held off giving it to him until his birthday. He just found it the other day. This is his FIRST attempt at writing his letters. I thought he did a really good job. I'm not a school teacher like my sister and mom, so I'm not one to sit with him and practice his letters and so forth, but I was amazed at what he could do.
And I just thought this was a sweet picture of Silas.
I believe Dawson writes very well for a 3 yr old! And, you're right, it's a sweet photo of Silas. He certainly fits into your family. I think God has a "Mcclean Family" stamp he uses on your boys!!!
ReplyDeleteYou are doing a great job as a teacher! :) The great thing about kids is that as they are developmentaly ready, they pick things up if they are exposed to it. :)
ReplyDeleteWhen I glanced at the picture of Silas, he actually looked like Shelby Grace. Wasn't sure if she was going to look like the rest of them but I guess she does.
