1. To let everyone know, we saw Bocar today and he is doing amazingly well only two weeks out of surgery. His incision is healing very nicely and though he is anxious to work again, we told him to wait until June. But boy do we miss him. There is no one like Bocar...and our yard shows it. But we're glad he'll get rest and be in better strength when he returns.
2. We caught the mouse! Well, really, he died. The poison worked while we were gone to Teriya Bugu. Brett went to the bathroom the night we got back and there he was, right beside the toilet. Now I had already given the boys baths in there and we had even been on the ground, so either he wasn't there yet or the Lord spared us from finding the dead mouse in the middle of bathtime. So hopefully-hopefully- we are done with mice for awhile. We shall see....
3. I keep thinking about my "Living in Africa" post. I don't want in any way to give the impression that I think my life is so much harder than everyone else's and life is fun and easy in the States. I know this isn't true. I know there are many, many difficulties in the States. I just think that there are different struggles here which are sometimes funny (at least after the fact) that I like to share. Hope that's ok. Not meant to act like my life is so hard or anything, just sharing the stories.
4. The more I look at the boys at 7 months in the post below, I start to see how they really do look alike. A little more than I thought. So maybe I was wrong and just because I'm the mom see every difference in them. I don't know...what do you think? do they look alike or not?
Ok, that was it. :)
