Can it get any sweeter than that? Those are the moments that melt my heart and make me thankful are boys are close together in age and are friends. Last night we played up at the hospital on the sand and even Silas was on the piles joining in the fun. Brett was having soccer practice there so every once and awhile the boys would stop playing and start cheering for Daddy- again, even Silas. I'm thankful that they have each other and do seem to really love each other. As they all played together and we were enjoying our time I just thought that it was all worth it. Three little kids close together has brought me many times to brink of insanity, but there is hope! They are growing up and they will play together! As hard as it is to watch my little baby grow up, I am thankful. It is getting easier. Hopefully I'll get to hear many more comments like yesterday about how they really do enjoy and love one another.
It will be fun watching them grow up. Some days they will love each other and other days they won't. I remember one set of cousins who just seemed like they never could get along with each other. But when they were with the rest of the cousins playing, just let someone in the group get upset with any ONE of them. They became like the Three Musketeers out to get us all.
ReplyDeleteI don't know how you have handled all the stress that comes with three little ones so close and then all the moves you and Brett have had to make. I say that as a human but know God has given you both the strength He promised for each new day.
May you both enjoy your boys as much as John and I have enjoyed ours.
Best Friends forever starts now and continues through life.
