Dawson celebrated his 10th birthday 10 days after our arrival in the States. It's fun to share it with basically the same friends every two years. I had told him at ten the parties must become just hanging out together instead of organized games. He enjoyed having friends over and they did play tag which he loves. He can never get his brothers to play with him so he was thrilled with a game of tag.
I was thrilled to only have to make a cake. :) He got an oreo cake for his birthday. It was full of oreos and very rich. I enjoyed being able to make a cake where I could use a whole package of Oreos for a cake instead of having to ration them over a long period of time. :)
Dawson is such a blessing. He has such a sweet heart. He is so good to his siblings and helps us out a ton. I feel lost when he isn't around. I know Kenan and Silas sometimes tire of his first born leadership:) , but they love him and I know as they get older they will realize what a special brother he is to them and how much he cares for them and helps them out. So very thankful for my dear Dawson. You are so loved!!
