We had to postpone our travels down to Brett's mom's because of Dawson's surgery. He had surgery on the Thursday before we were going to leave on Saturday. That didn't happen, obviously, and the surgeon said we had to wait two weeks before traveling. 

We finally made it there, though! Haven did incredibly well traveling (for a two year old). She just opened band-aids and took off the paper on crayons for most of the trip.

The kids loved their pool and enjoyed many hours out there.

Pop Pop was great with Haven. He would take her around the house and let her "help"him with jobs.

We went to St. Augustine and took a Pirate ship ride. It wasn't historically accurate (or good acting) but the kids enjoyed it. :) We even got to see dolphins jumping. A storm followed us and the skies opened up just as we were heading back. It actually made the experience more memorable.

 Pop Pop and Mémère took the boys everywhere, to the movies, the park, the bookstore, the children's museum, the water park, Legoland, and Downtown Disney with countless restaurant stops in between. I'm sure I'm even missing the places they went. Haven, still being clingy and unable to do long days, stayed with me at the house a lot. We enjoyed going to Publix, Walgreens, and a park down the street. Not quite as fun as the boys, but it worked. :)

 

As always, we had a great time and were spoiled immensely. We love our time with Mémère and Pop Pop!
